The Opportunity 

Are you an experienced PR professional with a passion for ambition and growth?

We’re one of the UK’s most exciting and fastest-growing PR agencies and are looking for a confident Senior PR Account Manager to join our team. 

Since launching in 2022, Altitude has built a strong national client base and won industry recognition, including CIPR New PR Consultancy of the Year, PRCA Dare Small Consultancy of the Year and a top-five ranking in the Prolific North Top 50 PR Agencies. 

If you have at least four years’ experience at Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level — agency or in-house — and are ready to lead significant client accounts, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for someone commercially aware, highly organised and confident in front of clients, with excellent writing skills and strong media knowledge.

The Role 

Based at our Sheffield head office (with hybrid working), you will take ownership of a portfolio of significant client accounts.

You’ll lead day-to-day delivery, provide strategic counsel, shape campaigns and ensure outstanding results. You’ll be confident leading client meetings, developing creative ideas, managing budgets and deadlines, and mentoring junior colleagues.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same — and where you’ll have real autonomy and influence.


Your role will involve:

  • Developing and delivering sector-focused PR campaigns aligned to client objectives

  • Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships

  • Providing strategic counsel and contributing to campaign planning

  • Managing multiple client portfolios, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget

  • Drafting high-quality content including press releases, thought leadership and award entries

  • Developing creative news angles and securing coverage across regional, national and trade media

  • Monitoring results, reporting on performance and identifying opportunities to add value

  • Contributing to new business pitches and supporting account growth

  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
